“I don’t really know much about my parents, so who knows,” Abe said, taking hold of Dusk’s hand as soon as he was off the fence. Now only a large parking lot that was halfway filled with cars separated them from their goal.
Dusk squeezed Abe’s hand, and all of a sudden it felt as if Abe was fifteen, on a date with his boyfriend, going to the fair to just have fun, and then maybe make out if he was lucky. Dusk was just his type—a man of impressive proportions, with long, long hair, the studded belt, and the cocky smile.
“We can test that. Do you live on lollipops and cotton candy?”
“And popsicles. I love it when they melt in my mouth,” Abe said, leaning closer to the heat of Dusk’s body.
“I’m guessing you’re totally out?” Dusk asked as they approached the fair.
Abe nodded. “I could never keep it a secret. People always had their suspicions, so there was no point in denying the obvious. You?”
Dusk licked his lips and went quiet for a moment, making Abe worry that he’d spoiled the mood. “It’s tricky. I’m bi, and I’ve been really popular with girls in high school, and I kind of didn’t want to spoil that with coming out. And now with the band… I’m open to guys on one hand, but it’s not like I advertize it, if you know what I mean?”
Dusk let go of Abe’s hand and pulled out his wallet when they approached a cotton candy stand on the outskirts of the gathering of booths and tents.
Abe waited for his pretty pink bundle of aerated sugar and only came back to the topic when they moved away from the seller, walking between the various attractions. Just being here was giving him a pleasant, warm sensation, like a blanket of familiarity. “So you’re out to your close friends and to people who don’t know of the band. Is that right?”
“Yes, that’s about right,” Dusk said, but his smile was gone, and he seemed absentminded when he picked on Abe’s treat.
Abe ripped off some of the fluff and enjoyed how it melted in his mouth into sugary syrup. “You don’t like it.”
“I don’t. Dawn and Sid are gay, and I’m bi. When we make it big, how can we possibly lie about it all our lives?” Dusk licked his lips, and Abe gave him the time to form the words he wanted to say. “Dawn had a shit time because of it in high school, and I feel like I’ve… I don’t know, cheated?”
Abe turned it in his thoughts several times, surprised by how far Dusk was ready to invite him into his private thoughts, willing to open up to a complete stranger without fear that something could go horribly wrong. Then again, maybe it was precisely because Abe was disposable. A person who would soon disappear out of Dusk’s life, taking away some of his burden. And yet, it still made him feel like he’d been chosen to share something special with Dusk.
“There’s only one life to live. I think it is about... self-respect to some degree. I know it’s a scary thing to reveal, but you should not be ashamed of wanting me. Or other guys.”
Dusk smiled and pushed some cotton candy into Abe’s mouth. “I know this will sound really weird, but hear me out, okay? I don’t know what it is about you, but it’s like… I can feel this connection. Like I’m a piece of metal, and you’re this powerful magnet, and that we snapped together. It makes me want to kiss you, hold your hand, and come out to the whole world.”
Abe’s lips trembled around Dusk’s sugary fingers, and he briefly closed his eyes, sucking on one fingertip as he accepted the treat. There was something utterly terrifying about this kind of intensity. And still it didn’t sound fake. They’d already fucked, so Dusk knew very well he did not have to lie his way into Abe’s pants.
And the worst thing was that he also felt the connection Dusk was talking about. A fierce longing to touch and listen to this man who crashed into Abe’s life so unexpectedly. “We could run away with the circus. There would be no expectations then. We could just do whatever we wanted and be at the fair every night.”
Dusk laughed as they made their way through the crowds walking along the main artery of the fairground. “No. I’d probably end up being a clown, and I’m much better than that. And you wouldn’t fuck a clown, so there’d be all this drama that you’re having an affair with the lion tamer. I can’t handle that.”
Abe laughed and bumped his shoulder against Dusk’s arm, staying so close it felt like they were hugging. He looked at the stalls lit up by warm lights. There was a little bumper car ride for kids, and trampolines, and a shooting range with all kinds of toys, including a glittery Tiki-themed plastic necklace. “And who would I be?”
“You could be one of those tight-rope walkers. In pink sequin lycra and all that. Or a sword swallower, but I’d have to test your skills for that one.” Dusk wiggled his eyebrows and paid for their two tickets to the Ferris wheel.
It really did feel like a date, and Abe followed Dusk’s lead without question, charmed by his easygoing wit. Secured in their little gondola, they slowly rose above the ground, and Abe’s hand found Dusk’s as he bit some of the cotton candy straight off the stick. “You need to pay for the privilege of witnessing my amazing skill at sword-swallowing. You promised to win something for me, and I’m not letting you off the hook.”
Dusk rubbed his thumb over Abe’s hand in a way that had goose bumps break out all over Abe’s arm. He remembered very well how it felt to have Dusk’s cock pound into him, to feel Dusk’s breath on his ear, and Dusk’s kisses on his nape. Even in the old restroom Dusk had made Abe forget all about where they were and focus on how well their bodies worked together.
“Oh, I will win you something. I’m not leaving this fair until there’s something plush in your arms.” Dusk’s face was serious, as if this challenge was a big deal.
“I want a necklace,” declared Abe, eating more of the cotton candy.
Dusk snorted. “A pearl one?”
Abe frowned. “Maybe...”
“I’m really into that.” Dusk was so focused on Abe, he wouldn’t even blink.
Abe leaned in, looking straight into Dusk’s eyes from up close, and his dick was already stiffening in his shorts. “Plastic first. Then pearls.”
“Done.”
Dusk let go of Abe’s hand only to put his arm around Abe’s shoulders, and it felt so cozy Abe cuddled up closer. He ate the cotton candy as the Ferris wheel slowly turned, giving them a view of the fields around the fair. Being quiet with Dusk felt just as comfortable as sharing silly jokes.
Abe rested his head on the firm shoulder and nuzzled Dusk’s neck as they watched the neon colors fade away into a black void just beyond the grounds of the fair. The gondola swung gently in the air, and he moved his hand over Dusk’s thigh, putting aside the empty stick that remained of their treat. He heard Dusk’s breathing speed up, and he gradually moved his fingertips closer to his groin.
Dusk licked his lips. “You know there’s not enough time here,” he whispered as if someone could possibly overhear them, but he still arched his hips to the touch.
Abe looked up, feeling deliciously wicked when their eyes met. “I know. But I want to give you some more incentive to shoot at that target well enough.”
Dusk leaned down for a kiss, and Abe loved the way hot breath tickled his upper lip when Dusk exhaled. As if Dusk sizzled under the touch to his dick. Dusk’s hair enveloped their faces like curtains, and Abe couldn’t get enough of that lovely mouth, so hot and so eager.
It came as a shock when his toes touched the wooden platform, and it was only then when he finally pulled back, excited beyond belief. He sure hoped Dusk would get that necklace for him soon, or he’d have to break his promise and get his hands on that hot body without Dusk fulfilling his end of the bargain.
His date would then think Abe was easy, but taking into account the way they met, Dusk already knew that much.
Dusk pulled away, and they both got out of the gondola, laughing at the Ferris wheel attendant’s judgmental glare. Dusk didn’t waste time and led them straight back to the booth with prizes one could win for shooting wooden ducks.
r /> Abe ran a few steps ahead and turned around, continuing to walk backwards so that he could feed off the determination on Dusk’s face. The way Dusk kept looking up and down his body was a thrill in itself, but when they got to the booth and Dusk grabbed the plastic gun, Abe was dying for him to win at first try.
Grinning wildly, Abe leaned close enough to Dusk for their arms to touch and whispered, “You look so focused. I like that.”
“I always reach for what I want.” Dusk shot and missed the ducks, but didn’t seem all that fazed, instantly aiming again. “It’s why our band will be real big one day. I’m not a quitter.”
Abe swallowed and moved his palm up and down Dusk’s back, hypnotized by the duck figures slowly moving along the back of the stand. His stomach tingled from the touch of phantom butterflies. He was enchanted.
The moth tattooed over Dusk’s hand seemed to flutter its wings when Dusk pulled the trigger again. The pellet hit a cloud behind the ducks, and Abe sensed the muscles tense under his touch, but time and time again, Dusk aimed and shot. He ended up paying for four more rounds, and he won a pack of candy and a pen in the process, but he was aiming for the duck that would get him the plastic necklace.
Abe rested his elbows against the counter and ate some of the fruity candy. He kept glancing between the ducks and Dusk’s tense expression, and he couldn’t help but find it charming that the guy was so intent on presenting Abe with that cheap necklace. The neon lights shone in the still-damp hair, and Abe smoothed Dusk’s dark strands back, more aroused by the minute.
“Stop it. You’re distracting me,” Dusk said, which only made Abe snort.
But then Dusk took a shot, and his ammo hit the duck he’d been aiming for. He slammed his hand against the counter and exclaimed in victory. “Fuck yes!”
Abe took a deep breath and hugged Dusk, rubbing his face against his shoulder. “Bravo. And there I was, thinking you couldn’t do it,” he teased, watching the attendant pick up the necklace made of pink and golden plastic.
Dusk snatched it from the man’s hand with a victorious grin, and they moved to make room for other players. “It wasn’t easy. And you got the sweets too, and the pen. I earned something extra. A swap?” He pulled on the bracelet on Abe’s wrist.
Abe looked down at one of the most expensive things he owned—made of rose gold, the bracelet jingled with several Aladdin-themed charms, including the magic lamp, a tiger, and Jasmine’s shoe. His gaze trailed up Dusk’s chest, and reluctance was already melting away. A guy like Dusk wouldn’t want to keep this kind of trinket. He was likely just teasing Abe.
“Come on…” Dusk smiled wider. “You know you want both this one and the pearl one.”
Abe exhaled and undid the lock on the bracelet, transforming it into a chain that he handed over to Dusk. “Fine.”
Dusk grabbed the bracelet in triumph and stuffed it into his pocket. He leaned forward and wrapped his arms around Abe’s neck to fasten the plastic necklace.
Abe frowned, still focused on his treasure when the plastic rested on his bare skin. “Aren’t you gonna wear it?”
Dusk laughed. “It’s not really my style, is it, sweets?”
Abe twisted his mouth in a mock-scowl. “Fine. But you’re only borrowing it.”
Dusk put his heavy arm around Abe’s shoulders and they started walking. “Deal.”
With each step through the fair, Abe melted closer to Dusk’s body, and he ended up sliding his arm behind the narrow hips, excited by the way they moved, in a barely noticeable sway. They eventually left the merry music behind and stepped between the cars in the kind of darkness that made Abe bolder in his touch. He slipped his hand under the back of Dusk’s T-shirt and gently scratched the warm skin.
Dusk purred like a happy cat. “That feels good.”
“So does my necklace,” Abe said and moved to face Dusk. His hand slid back to the waistband of Dusk’s jeans and tugged on his thick leather belt.
Dusk stopped and glanced around the dark parking lot. “You want the other one now?”
Abe pulled him closer by the belt, into a deep kiss that started with their teeth clashing, only to grow smooth as lips and tongues met. Dusk’s lips were so soft they made Abe wonder how they would feel around his dick, but he had to take it one step at a time, which meant he craved to taste Dusk first.
He pushed Dusk back, and they slipped between the rows of cars to find a place somewhat more secluded. His heart beat fast when he finally molded his entire body to Dusk’s and felt the firm muscle quiver under his touch. The long hair trailed against his naked skin, and he almost forgot how to breathe, unwilling to break the kiss that kept him warm.
It was Dusk who pulled his lips away, even if only for a second. “You’re so hot. Have I said that yet?” He pulled on one of Abe’s pierced nipples.
Abe moaned and cupped Dusk`s groin, rubbing his fingers against the trapped balls at a tantalizing speed. The heat of the hidden flesh was so great he could feel it even through the thick fabric, beckoning him closer and tempting his imagination. He bet Dusk would smell delicious down there. Fresh from the recent shower, yet already somewhat musky, masculine, a bit dangerous. “No,” he teased with a wide smile.
Dusk rolled Abe’s nipple between his fingers. “You are. My hot and sweet Lolly, and I’ll suck on you one day, but you’re getting your necklace tonight.” He rocked his hips into Abe’s hand.
Abe licked Dusk’s lips, but he wasn’t willing to wait any longer. His hands were proficient enough at unbuckling belts that he didn’t even have to look away from the handsome face that he wanted to see every day until they arrived in L.A. “I’ll take your word for it,” he said and slowly sank to his knees.
The way Dusk’s eyes glazed over made Abe’s cock swell with pride. Dusk pushed his pants lower, letting his dick slide out of his underwear just as shamelessly as when they first met. “I promise to deliver.”
Abe stayed still, for a moment simply admiring the gentle curve of Dusk’s erection, the thick veins and the sheen of dampness on the purple head. He licked his lips and took it in his hand, stroking the other up and down Dusk’s thigh. “Did you buy tickets for this next ride?” he whispered, his voice already hoarse, as if his throat had already been at work tonight.
Dusk bowed lower, his hair sliding down the sides of his face. “I’m gonna ride you all the way to L.A., babe.”
Abe whimpered his excitement and slowly moved his hand up and down the stiff cock. Gently at first, just to tease Dusk, whose eyes now were as dark as the sky above. “But you’ll need to tell me when, or I’m gonna swallow all those jewels.”
Dusk put his warm hands on Abe’s cheeks. “Oh, I’ll tell you. You wanna take your T-shirt off?” His breath quickened, and the intense pulsing in his cock told Abe all about his excitement.
Abe grinned and licked the tip of Dusk’s cock before releasing it and pulling off first the jacket, then the oversized T-shirt. The cool air made his nipples pucker, but that only made him grow more excited. “You just don’t want any stains on your clothes. Admit it.”
Dusk grinned. “I just did the laundry. But I’d do it all over again if that’s what it takes to see my spunk drizzling down your chin.”
Abe reached to the heat between Dusk’s legs and let the warm weight of his balls rest on his palm. Encouraged by a soft grunt from above, he started rubbing his fingers against the flesh behind the sac as he slowly leaned forward, opening his mouth while looking into Dusk’s face. His body was on fire already, and he hadn’t even tasted the dick yet.
Dusk was so handsome, even when his face was half-obscured by shadows. His dark brows were gathered in a small frown, and all his focus was on Abe. Dusk’s thumbs teased Abe’s cheeks, making the sex between two cars seem intimate even if it was semi-public.
The distant sounds of the fair were like a blanket thrown over their little world. There was always the chance that someone would see them and recognize what they were at, but that only gave Abe a li
ttle kick. When he finally let the cockhead rest on his outstretched tongue, the combination of taste and silky touch was so exquisite his dick twitched in his pants.
“Fuck,” he mumbled against the damp tip and kissed it.
Dusk pulled Abe’s head closer with a muffled moan. “Suck on it,” he whispered, and he made such a pretty picture from Abe’s perspective. So tall and wide-shouldered, Abe could imagine fans falling over themselves to blow Dusk in the future.
“The groupies are gonna love this when you’re famous,” he said and relaxed his throat, taking more of the length inside, without neglecting Dusk’s warm, delicious balls either. They deserved just as much attention as the stiff, wonderful cock that now filled Abe’s mouth.
Dusk held Abe’s head still, rocking his hips back and forth, as if in slow motion, and every time he pulled out, Abe already missed the taste and tried to follow the stiff dick to suck out all its juices.
“I don’t care. I’m here with you now,” Dusk rasped.
Abe’s entire body trembled at that comment. Even though it was irrelevant to the future, the razor-sharp focus Dusk expressed was an unexpected turn-on. Abe hollowed his cheeks while gently rubbing his tongue over the upper half of Dusk’s cock. Heat danced over his naked back despite the cold air, and the plastic necklace suddenly felt heavy, like an iron collar keeping him where he was meant to be. And in this moment, he felt content to always stay on his knees in front of Dusk.
Dusk’s thrusts sped up, and he held Abe’s head steady, sliding one of his hands to the braid at the back of his head. Every now and then, Dusk let out a delicious groan when his cockhead hit the back of Abe’s throat, and it didn’t even matter that it caused a bit of discomfort. All Abe wanted was to open up to that thick rod moving in his mouth like a well-oiled machine. His own dick was painfully stiff, but he was too focused on Dusk to take care of it.
Seconds and minutes melted together into a well of pleasure and longing that trickled all over Abe, sinking into flesh and coating him, both inside and out. He kept playing with the precious treasure in Dusk’s sac, stroking the skin that felt like it was close to boiling, but he let Dusk do the rest and fuck his mouth as gently as if he cared whether Abe was comfortable. It was really sweet of him.
