Guns n’ Boys book 6
K.A. Merikan
“I don’t even know who I am anymore.”
“All you need to know is that you’re mine.”
Seth would follow Domenico to the depths of hell. He promised to always be at Domenico’s side. But hell becomes all too real when they infiltrate the world of Toro - a notoriously security-obsessed arms dealer, who has eyes and ears everywhere.
Seth becomes unable to steal even a moment of intimacy with Domenico, and the tension grinds them down each day. Beyond the deceptive paradise of Toro’s villa, violence is an everyday occurrence, and the swimming pool could just as well be filled with blood. To survive, Seth has to become the man Domenico needs him to be, but in the process, he might lose who he truly is.
With Seth trained up, and Mark as backup, victory is so close Domenico can taste it. They just need to prove themselves to Toro as valuable assets. With each day though, Seth seems to be drifting away from Domenico, hidden behind a mask of cruelty and indifference. It is exactly what Domenico asked of him, so why is it so difficult to see Seth become his mirror image?

Chapter 1 -Domenico
Seth’s lips on Domenico’s cock were what all great afternoons were made of. Soft, open, and eager to give pleasure, they made Domenico forget any hurdles that would undoubtedly still be ahead of them.
With Seth kneeling on the fluffy carpet by their bed, Domenico pulled him closer by the longish hair at the top of his head. When Seth looked up at him with his big brown eyes all soft and a dick nudging at his throat, Dom wished he could take a quick photo, just to come back to the beautiful image sometime in the future, but the surge of arousal took over, and he thrust his hips forward while keeping Seth’s head in place.
Domenico struggled to keep his eyes open, and he watched his husband throughout the heavy waves of orgasm, his tan skin trembling, damp with sweat, but Seth would not pull back. He stared straight at Domenico, lips locked at the very base of Dom’s cock, hands caressing Dom’s balls and inner thighs. And then, like a satisfied beast, Seth freed the spent dick and climbed on top of Domenico, stretching out his naked body against Dom’s clothed one.
Dom fell back, grabbing Seth’s ass to bring them closer and leaned into a wet, hot, very salty kiss that tasted of them both. Seth’s arms were instantly around him, and he moaned into Dom’s lips, arching against him. Moments like these were priceless, even if not rare.
Seth wove his fingers into Dom’s hair and smiled into the kiss, making Dom’s heart beat faster. Not many things could beat Seth’s smile. So inviting, so appetizing, Domenico would be back for seconds tomorrow.
The loud voice of yet another ridiculous pop singer cut through the intimate atmosphere, and it was such a distraction Dom pulled away in frustration. Seth must have replaced Domenico’s usual ringtone with yet another smash hit that would only be around for a month.
“Shit,” he muttered, peeking at the cell phone, which shook with vibrations on the nightstand.
“Important?” Seth released Dom by rolling away. The smile was still on his face as he stretched on his back, keeping all of his gorgeous tan body on show.
“No idea,” Dom said, reaching out only to pull the cell closer. He went limp with annoyance when Dana’s name appeared on the screen, and the damn popstar still sung, with that dumb metallic aftersound that made her voice all the more fake. “Shit. I think I might have to take this,” he said and slapped Seth’s ass.
Seth sighed but got up and gave Dom a kiss on the shoulder blade. “Take your time, I’ll finish up dinner.”
Domenico sent him a kiss and finally picked up the call, watching Seth gather the clothes they’d earlier tossed about. Damn. That ass was so fine Domenico’s cock was still interested, but Dana’s voice was enough to cut through all the sexual thoughts he might have had.
“Dana. What a surprise. It’s been weeks.”
“Yes, I’ve been watched. But it’s because I got in. I’m with Toro, and we are going back to Colombia today.”
Domenico was silent for several seconds, watching Seth flash him one last smile before he left the bedroom. “Do you know where in Colombia you will be? Anything else you found out since our last conversation?”
“We fly into Cali, but I don’t know where we will go from there. From what I’ve gathered it will be by some big lake, but that’s it. I’d rather him think I’m a gold digger than have him suspecting anything more about me. I will contact you agai
n when we get there. I highly doubt he’ll dispose of me. I’m pretty sure he… likes me. I’m getting to know his friends as well.”
Domenico put his cock back into his briefs and zipped up his pants, sitting up. “The chip he put under your skin. Will you be able to remove it when the time comes?”
Dana took her time to answer. Good, he’d rather she thought before telling him something she just wished for. “Yes. I’m not his dog. He will regret any disrespect he pays me.”
Domenico stood up and approached the window, looking out at the stretch of the shoreline in the dusky light. He tried to ignore the delicious savory scents coming through the closed door and wondered if that was all. As much as he needed an update from Dana from time to time, Domenico liked his evenings quiet, spent in the company of closest family, not on the line with the alligator woman. “This news changes things. I will make my move as well. Don’t expect me to arrive too soon, but inform me once you know your exact whereabouts.”
She took a deep breath, so rapidly the line creaked. “There’s something else.”
Domenico frowned and leaned against the window, his heart beating faster as he wondered what the news was. Was she perhaps to meet Raul Moreno himself? “Yes?”
“I’m pregnant.”
Domenico stared at two boats speeding through the sea like two ants chasing one another. He had a vague sense of complete, utter nonsense dropping on his shoulders. “Say again?”
“I’m pregnant. It came out that way. I was working on pulling Toro on our side, trying to make a connection, and that was the kind of connection he wanted from me. So I thought I could just abort it when necessary—”
Domenico’s head exploded. “You will do no such thing! It’s an innocent human being! What is wrong with you?”
Dana kept silent for far too long, as if this was even something to ponder. “I mean… I just thought it would be in our way.”
Domenico sucked in a big gulp of air and stepped away from the window. “In your way? It’s a person growing inside you! If you didn’t take enough care to not get pregnant, then it’s your fucking obligation to bring it into the world! You women are made for it anyway, so what’s your problem?”
“Since when do you care about people living or dying?” Dana snapped.
Domenico stared at the phone, shocked she was talking back to him. “Since it’s a pregnancy. You’re its mother. Don’t you have any maternal instincts yet? Besides, you can’t kill it before it’s christened. You’re not allowed to block its way to heaven,” said Domenico, feeling as if he were talking to a wall. He needed to make Dana read the Catechism, and fast, so she’d actually know the consequences behind actions she found meaningless.
“Okay! Fine!” Dana growled. “I was going to keep it for now anyway, because Toro is all over me. That’s what I’ve been trying to say. I’m in, Domenico. He doesn’t exactly fully trust me yet, but I’m in.”
Domenico smiled and dropped to the mattress. “Good. Keep up the good work. And buy some... like vitamins for future moms, or something. And no alcohol. We will take care of the baby daddy once he’s not of use to us anymore.”
“Good. He’s a dick.”
Domenico smirked. “Bye, Dana.”
She didn’t even say anything, just disconnected, which meant she was furious, because she usually dragged the conversation with Domenico far beyond a reasonable time. At least her head was still in the game.
He took a few moments to compose himself, but in the end he walked down the corridor and into the airy, modern living room of their little apartment. Mark’s head shot up where he sat in the corner with an open laptop.
“Um, hi, Dom.” Mark’s face was flushed, his eyes open wide as he stared at Domenico without blinking. He seemed out of focus, which meant that now was the time for an unexpected test. Without further ado, Domenico reached back, positioned his hand into a gun-like shape and pointed it at Mark’s forehead. The brown eyes widened, but by the time Mark reached out to grab the mock-muzzle and turn it away from himself, he would have already had a hole in his forehead.
“Too slow. You’re dead,” Domenico said, and Mark slouched in the chair with a childish scowl.
“I wasn’t prepared...”
“You will never be prepared. Dealing with a firearm should be your second nature.”
“Are you done with the call?” Seth yelled from the kitchen.
“All done,” said Domenico and walked away from the sulking teenager to knock on the balcony door.
Miguel, who smoked a cigarette outside, looked back at him with the same nonengaged gaze he usually carried, but he nodded and tapped his smoke to signal he’d be back inside soon.
“What’s for dinner?” Dom asked, sitting at the head of the table. It was already set, with a wreath of fresh flowers as the centerpiece.
“Tagliatelle with lemon and vodka sauce! Some caponata on the side,” Seth said with a smile and started bringing in the dishes full of food that smelled of heaven.
Mark drifted to the table with his eyes already eating what was on offer. In the past few months he’d been giving it his all during training, and it was paying off. Not only did he seem taller, which really was more about quality food than his own achievement, but he had also gained muscle and looked more like a man than a boy with each passing day. He’d even started shaving once a week.
“Smells so good. Miguel! You’re missing out!” Mark yelled.
Miguel finally butted the cigarette and entered the living room, moderately less gloomy now that Seth’s delicious home-cooked meal was on the table.
“This is the life, isn’t it?” Domenico declared, eyeing Miguel before pulling on Seth’s forearm in order to steal a quick kiss that still tasted of his seed.
Miguel served himself some pasta. “I guess,” was all he had to say. At least Domenico knew his lack of enthusiasm couldn’t have been caused by being around two married gay men, because Miguel had had all the time in the world to get used to that. It was likely just a feature of his personality.
Also, judging by the way he’d ogled Seth in the past, Miguel was clearly gay himself but for whatever reason, chose not to come out in an apartment of like-minded people. Maybe he simply didn’t want to threaten Dom’s rights to Seth? In any case, Domenico did not care, at least not when Seth filled his plate with the most delicious of pastas.
“I am in heaven, darling.”
Mark didn’t wait for anyone and was already stuffing his mouth full of pasta so fast a mushroom fell out of his lips with a wet smack. He nodded vigorously.
Miguel grunted his approval, but Seth didn’t seem bothered and sat down next to Domenico after pouring them all wine.
Seth looked out the window and drank from his glass before getting some pasta on his plate as well. “What a perfect day.”
“I have exciting news,” Domenico said in the end, tasting the tangy sauce first, just wiping the fork on his tongue. “Our little family will grow.”
Even Miguel looked up with a curious look on his face. Grumpy and quiet as he was most of the time, training together every day had forged firmer bonds between all members of their small group, creating an easy camaraderie that lasted for as long as no one prodded Miguel about his sex life. Though, as far as Domenico knew, there was none to speak of.
Mark grinned. “Are we getting dogs? Like, each of us could have a dog, and we could use them, send messages on their collars.”
Seth rubbed his forehead. “That’s one of the worst ideas you’ve ever had, Mark. What do you mean, Dom?”
Domenico leaned back, swallowed, and looked around to capture the looks on everyone’s faces. “Dana is going to have a baby.”
Seth’s eyebrows went high. “What? How will she get rid of it?”
Mark frowned. “Is she Catholic too?”
Domenico almost dropped the fork. “Seth! What do you mean by ‘get rid of it’? It’s a complete person. Even before it’s Christened.” He frowned at Mark. “I don’t
care what she is. Her son will be Catholic. I will make sure of that.”
Seth winced and had more wine.
Miguel pointed a fork at Domenico. “Who’s it with? Is this good for us, or bad?”
Mark swallowed everything he had in his mouth. “She’s a monster. Dom, she can’t be a mom! She’s gonna just dump the baby somewhere.”
Domenico snorted. “Don’t be ridiculous. She might be a cold-blooded psycho, but she can’t escape what she is.”
“Which is, a cold-blooded psycho,” Seth muttered.
Domenico licked his lips and looked at Miguel. “Dana is an associate of mine. Independent contractor, quite effective for a lady,” he said, omitting the fact that she’d managed to hogtie Seth when they first met her. That would have made his husband look bad. “I had her get into Toro’s good graces, but it seems that he’s gotten quite deep into hers too,” he said, chuckling at the amusing image. Poor Toro. A woman would be his downfall.
“Toro? She’s having Toro’s baby?” Miguel’s eyes became much sharper, and his fingers tensed around the cutlery he was holding.
Seth shook his head. “Ugh. This will not end well…”
Domenico spread his arms. “What can I say? I didn’t tell her to sleep with him. But hey, the vagina is her most effective tool of the trade. At least with that baby on the way, we can be certain Toro will not get rid of her before we arrive.”
“She is evil,” hissed Mark, sending Miguel a stern look.
Miguel nodded slowly and raised an eyebrow. “Why?”
“She just is, okay?” Mark’s cheeks darkened slightly, and he stuffed his face with more pasta.
Domenico was happy to see them making some sort of connection, because the four of them often trained in pairs, and since Dom didn’t want Miguel’s hands on Seth, Miguel usually spent a bit more time with Mark. It meant Miguel had learned to be that tiny bit more chatty, while Mark was slowly learning when to shut up. It seemed like an uphill battle for them both.
